This position creates a positive first and last impression of the clinic and is pivotal to the practice running as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Commercial insurance knowledge and mental health terminology are a plus.
Must be available to work Mon and Tue evenings and Saturdays 8-2.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Answer and direct phone calls and take messages, Scheduling patient appointments (initial/follow-up/reschedule), Enter pertinent patient information into the electronic medical record system, Confirm all patient paperwork is reviewed, signed, dated and entered into the electronic medical record, Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and any other monies due from the patients, Maintain a neat, clean and organized work and reception area, Respond timely to email correspondence, Performs other office duties as assigned.
Skills/Characteristics Needed:
