Summary:
Quality Inspector maintains authority to accept or reject products as necessary, and ensure causes are identified, and that follow-up activities occur with responsible parties to minimize impact, and prevent recurrence.
Any non-conforming issues are addressed to appropriate management.
The Quality Inspector participates in continuous improvement activities to drive improvements in quality effectiveness.
It is the responsibility of Quality Inspector to promote a quality mindset throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Perform first piece and final piece inspections, other inspections as assigned.
Traceability - Includes the review of documentation in Absolute department regarding use of materials and proper documentation techniques on AG-1 Traceability reports.
Assures that all inspection paperwork are completed in a timely manner.
Review and file Vendor Certificates of Compliance / Certificates of Analysis as needed.
Create and print out Certificates of Compliance.
Assure programs, procedures and documentation are carried out correctly.
Generate non-conformance reports for in-process materials as needed.
Maintain upkeep of the material preservation program.
Control and monitor Quality hold products.
Reporting of Damaged Beyond Repair's (DBR's).
Assist in root cause analysis of DBR's.
Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of ISO-9001.
Must be familiar with measuring tools such as:
